Smart Hands & Remote Hands Support

Your hands and eyes on site. Techzorp engineers carry out physical checks, changes and troubleshooting directed step by step by your remote engineering, NOC or vendor teams — in data centres, offices, retail stores and other enterprise sites.

Hands & Eyes Support

What smart hands support covers

Smart hands — also called remote hands or hands-and-eyes support — puts a skilled engineer at your site to carry out the physical work your remote team cannot. Your engineers stay in control of the change; our engineer is their eyes and hands at the rack, the cabinet or the desk.

  • Physical checks across switch ports, cabling, patch panels and connected devices
  • Hardware installation and replacement directed by your team
  • Console access over Cisco / RJ45 serial for your engineers
  • Remote access enablement so your engineers can complete configuration
  • Support during scheduled troubleshooting and change windows
  • Cable testing, tracing and labelling
  • Photo evidence and a written work summary on completion

On Site

How a smart hands visit works

Our engineers are built to work with remote teams. They join your bridge call, follow instructions from your NOC, Tier-2 or vendor engineers, and validate each step with you before closing out.

  1. Scope, tools and site access confirmed before attendance — photo ID pre-clearance, inductions and escorts arranged
  2. Engineer arrives equipped: laptop with console and remote-access tools, console cables, cable tester and toner, hand tools, labelling and site PPE
  3. Engineer joins your bridge call with your NOC, Tier-2 or vendor team
  4. Physical checks and changes carried out step by step under your direction
  5. Check-out with dispatch, photo evidence and a written summary of work completed
